Alonso is ready to hold his first training!
Xabi Alonso will be overseeing his first training session as Real Madrid manager on Monday (9 June).
With the start of the FIFA Club World Cup soon approaching, the Spaniard wants to start holding training to prepare Los Blancos for the tournament.
However, he will only have a handful of first team players at his disposal for his first training session at Real Madrid.
The first-team stars to feature in Alonso’s first training session will be Rodrygo, Fede Valverde, Fran Garcia, Dani Ceballos and Lucas Vazquez.
The interesting thing about this is that Vazquez is poised to leave Real Madrid at the end of June (2025), but will still be training under Alonso.
The majority of Real Madrid’s first team players are away on international duty, but will join up with the squad before the start of the Club World Cup.
