Xabi Alonso was a proactive figure in his first training session as Real Madrid manager on Monday (9 June, 2025).
The Spaniard was only able to work with a handful of first-team players, with the majority of the lads currently on international duty.
However, Alonso looked sharp and commanding in his first traiing session in charge and even decided to take part in some training drills himself.
He could be seen working on some passing drills with the likes of David Alaba and Dani Carvajal in the training.
Alonso even linked up with Alaba to allow the Austrian defender to score a goal into one of the mini goals in the session.
It’s clear that Xabi will get involved in some training drills to improve the sense of togetherness in the squad going forward.
