Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is facing one of the most emotional off-court battles of his life.
According to sources close to the family, the NBA legend got into a heated argument with his eldest daughter Riley Curry, 13, late Monday night at their Atherton home. The fight reportedly began over Riley’s social media posts — which Steph felt were “too grown” and “disrespectful to the family image.”
Witnesses say shouting could be heard from outside the property, and moments later, Riley stormed out of the house, slamming the door and disappearing into the night with a backpack and her phone.
Ayesha Curry was said to be in tears, begging her husband to calm down as the family’s security team began searching nearby streets. One insider described the scene as “pure heartbreak — Steph was pacing around barefoot, calling her name over and over.”
