Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs has quietly faced one of the darkest chapters of his life — and somehow came out stronger.

According to insiders, Diggs was investigated for placing over 7,000 bets between 2019 and 2022 — including several wagers on college football games featuring his brother, Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs.

Authorities allege Diggs used multiple online accounts under different names and won nearly $400,000, some of which were placed when he was still under 21 — a clear violation of gambling laws in both Maryland and Texas.
In early 2024, Diggs reportedly faced potential prison time and a league suspension, but after full cooperation and mandatory counseling, he was allowed to return to football.
Since then, Trevon has become a different man.
He’s taken accountability, turned to faith, and now uses his story as motivation to help young athletes avoid the same mistakes.
“I was chasing excitement off the field when I should’ve been chasing greatness on it,” Diggs said in a recent interview.
“Now, I know better. My past doesn’t define me — it refines me.”
Once labeled a problem, Diggs has transformed into a leader in the Cowboys locker room, inspiring teammates with his comeback and focus.
The man who nearly lost it all to gambling has now found his purpose — and redemption.
