In Zlatoust, animal rights activists came to the aid of a dog left chained up in the bitter cold. It sat in one place for so long that it even froze. Volunteers reported on the condition of the animal in trouble on social networks.
The tied dog howled pitifully for a long time, but no one paid attention to it. Only a few days later animal rights activists learned about the situation and urgently went to save the four-legged creature.
â The poor thing simply froze to the place where he was sitting. Everything is frostbitten: paws, tail, bare belly, genitals. The dog is in serious condition. The animal canât even stand up. The fur is falling off the body, â said volunteers of the Zlatoust public organization for helping homeless animals âGive Lifeâ.
The dog was taken to a veterinary clinic for examination, where he was given first aid. There, they took tests and skin scrapings, and also injected him with an antibiotic. Now the dog’s body temperature has returned to normal. Whether the animal has frostbite will be known in a few days.
As animal rights activists explained, the dog is severely exhausted and dehydrated. She needs a period of recovery, after which the question of performing an operation will be decided.
