When Mosha was only seven months old, she walked in the jungle with her mother when she stepped onto a landmine and lost part of her right front leg. Mosha was fortunate to be rushed to the Friends of the Asian Elephant in Northern Thailand, the world’s first elephant hospital, who treated her wounds and saved her life. Mosha is also the inspiration behind Elephant Parade and Elephant Parade structurally supports Mosha.
