Lisa Rinna, actress and reality TV star, has officially left “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (RHOBH) after eight seasons.

In an interview on the podcast ‘Therapuss’, Rinna shared that the decision was largely due to negative reactions from viewers. She said that initially, cast members blogged about the show, but with the rise of social media, viewers became more comfortable with making negative comments. Rinna felt “turned into a villain” and did not want to continue living in that environment. Rinna previously admitted that she “hated” her final season on RHOBH and felt that the show was no longer right for her. She said that the change in the way viewers reacted to the show had made the environment “unhealthy”.
Lisa Rinna blames viewers for her #RHOBH exit:

Rinna’s husband, Harry Hamlin, also revealed that her decision to leave RHOBH was partly due to the audience’s support for Sutton Stracke during an argument between the two. Hamlin said that Rinna was unhappy that the audience sided with Stracke and decided that it was time to leave the show.
