In a recent announcement, Elon Musk stirred up the global technology and media community when he revealed the idea of a super-fast system capable of moving an entire city in just 30 minutes. Although not yet implemented, this project promises to open a completely new era of transportation, where geographical distances are almost erased.
According to Musk, the system will combine the most advanced technologies: from Hyperloop, AI traffic management, to an automatic vehicle coordination network, to reduce congestion and increase travel speed to unprecedented levels. He described this as an “unprecedented turning point in the history of human transportation”.
However, this information also sparked a lot of controversy. Analysts questioned the feasibility, huge costs and potential risks when humans have to depend on such a complex system. On social media, public opinion is divided into two streams: one side praises Elon Musk as a genius ahead of his time, the other side is concerned about the dangers of this speed and technology.
