Manchester United could reportedly be preparing for one of the most ambitious stadium transformations in the club’s history, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe said to be backing a potential £1 billion overhaul of Old Trafford.
The reported plan could eventually see the iconic stadium transformed into a spectacular venue capable of accommodating around 100,000 supporters, potentially creating one of the largest football stadiums in Europe.
The claims have emerged following reports of stadium disruption surrounding United’s recent 5-2 victory, with renewed questions being raised about the long-term condition and infrastructure of the Theatre of Dreams.
