A heartwarming video has shown how a little boy and a cheetah play together as best friends – despite the gap in both species and size.
Footage shows the child running away from the cheetah who is following him at high speed.

Thrown about: The boy’s father sweeps his son into the air and spins him around
The man then puts his child down, who begins to cuddle the cheetah.
The pair are then seen to be inseparable, with the boy walking around with his arms wrapped around the big cat in the footage, which was filmed in the desert in an unknown location.
Cuddle time: But the boy quickly returns to his cheetah, who he gives a hug to

Cheetahs have been tamed and used as pets for centuries, dating back to the Ancient Egyptians.
They are also one of the fastest animals on Earth, and can reach speeds of up to 75mph.
