UEFA have launched an investigation into the celebrations of Dani Ceballos, Antonio Rüdiger, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. in the aftermath of their win against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Atleti complained about the excessive celebration of the Real Madrid players after Madrid’s win in a penalty shootout.
Mbappe was spotted grabbing his genitals while celebrating in front of Atleti fans, while his teammates reportedly made offensive gestures.
If the Real Madrid players are found guilty of misconduct, they could be sanctioned by UEFA. However, they are not expected to be banned from any matches. The worst could be a heavy fine for the club and players.
