As soon as they approached her, they noticed the large mass was beginning to bleed, becoming extremely uncomfortable for the innocent animal to look at and making her days increasingly difficult .
It was there that their worst suspicions were confirmed . It was a sexually transmitted cancer . This type of disease can be prevented by spaying or neutering as many animals as possible, especially those that live on the streets.
Olivia’s tumor was of the transmissible venereal type.
They decided to put her through chemotherapy . Still, they couldn’t be sure if she would survive. They named her Olivia and set out to support her throughout this difficult journey.
