Sikorsky/Lockheed Martin and Boeing revealed the first details about the Defiant X, a new advanced compound helicopter proposed for the United States Army’s Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) competition, which will replace the UH-60 Black Hawk as part of the larger Future Vertical Lift (VFL) program.The Defiant X is based on the SB-1 Defiant technology demonstrator’s experience, and it, too, employs two rigid coaxial rotors and a pusher prope
