The chances of a newborn baby surviving, abandoned to its fate in the middle of the countryside in freezing temperatures late at night , are virtually nil.
Unless a litter of canine creatures , sent as true little angels , appear on the scene to save the baby from the cruel plans of her evil parents.
As strange and terrifying as it may seem, with their body heat it was the adorable little dogs who managed to save the baby’s life . They fought with all their might to keep her warm during the cold night.
While a (human) mother cornered the fruit of her womb to death, other puppies, along with their canine mother, offered him all the protection he needed to save his life, which was hanging by a thread.
“It was probably the warmth of the cubs and her own mother that kept this newborn alive,” said a local man named Premnath.
“Usually, the temperature drops significantly at night since it’s December. I have to say it’s pure luck that I’m alive,” she added.
She also emphasized that while in this case the dogs acted with infinite compassion toward the vulnerable baby, they can sometimes be “hostile, aggressive, and even ferocious.”
The baby’s parents had abandoned her in a remote area of the field on top of a grassy mound.
Judging the actions of the little girl’s parents, he said, “That’s not being parents, that’s being criminals!” he emphasized harshly.
“It’s a miracle to find even one newborn baby that survives when stray dogs lurk in the dark of night.”
It’s clear that without the intervention of the puppies, the baby falling asleep naked, just a few hours on the grass, in the middle of winter, would have been synonymous with hypothermia and total tragedy.
He spent the whole night without clothes in the open air with the only warmth provided by the dogs.
When they found her, the little girl was not only alive but in perfect condition.
Her crying is said to have alerted some locals passing by, who informed the Panchayat, a local government body, which contacted the police.
