The poor little dog named Rose went from one house to another until she finally found her new mother.

No one was seriously injured, but neighbors called the police and animal control , who informed the woman that the dog had to spend 10 days at the shelter as a safety measure.

“I told them, ‘ Okay, here’s the dog,’ because I didn’t know what to say to stop them from taking her. I followed their orders, and they told me they would give her back to me in 10 days,” the woman said.

The dog had never shown aggressive behavior before.

After 10 days, instead of handing the dog over to her, the kennel staff informed Lagnese that they would have to put her to sleep because her aggressive behavior had become frequent .

The case became complicated and ended up in federal court. Lagnese continued to defend her position regarding the dog, saying that she always thought the dog was sweet, and the punishment for biting people couldn’t be that severe . So she decided to fight for her dog.

The saddest part was that the dog didn’t understand why she was there and why her owner always had to leave her. So time passed, and after four and a half years, Rose was finally set free.

now Rose is 7 years old and is adapting exceptionally well to life outside the kennel. From day one, she’s been very affectionate with her trainer and everyone at the shelter, and we at Zoorprendente couldn’t be happier about that.
