The dog was hit 17 times while pregnant
This is an innocent five-year-old dog that was found in Lebanon on the verge of death after having been abandoned to her fate in the middle of the street, after receiving 17 bullet wounds.
Her wounded little body had several fractures and she had lost her vision. Her condition was so delicate that it was impossible to save her babies. How sad!
The foundation shared Maggie’s sad past on social media in the hope of touching a few hearts. The effect was immediate and this beautiful dog soon found her dream home.
In her new life in London, Maggie has become a therapy dog, visiting hospitals and universities alongside Kasey, spreading positive energy and showing that life is not a bed of roses, but you have to face it with courage and determination.
“What Maggie went through was horrible, but if her story can educate and inspire others to do good, then at least we will have done our part to make this world a little better,” Kasey said.
He lives with his beautiful sisters Mishka and Millie, whom he adores.
No one can believe that after his terrifying experience in Lebanon, after 17 attempts to end his life, he is now running free and happy in England, inspiring so many.
In a final video, her owner noted: “Yes, Maggie has had her struggles, but without them, she would never have traveled to England and become the wonder dog you know and love today. Of course, I wish she had never suffered the way she did, and I am heartbroken that I wasn’t there for her during the tough times, but I am so honored to be her human caregiver now.”
“What a hard experience it is to really take care of our animals. They don’t stay that long, so cherish these moments and take this as a sign to go and give your furry friend a hug right now,” she concluded.
