Vinicius Junior and his camp have rejected Real Madrid’s first contract renewal offer, reports The Athletic’s Mario Cortegana.

Real Madrid have offered to pay Vinicius €15m net per season, identical to what Kylian Mbappe currently receives at the club.
However, Vinicius probably wants more money and wants to be the top earner at the club.

Real Madrid and Vinicius will continue discussions over the contract extension until an agreement is reached.

Note that Vini’s current deal expires in 2027. He is being hotly pursued by Saudi clubs.
