LeBron James didn’t have a good outing Tuesday night in Philadelphia, where the Los Angeles Lakers lost 118-104 to the 76ers and even lost Anthony Davis to injury, but even when he has a bad night, the ‘King’ finds a way to make it memorable, although on this occasion it was courtesy of an unthinkable figure who went backstage to put a smile on James’ face.
Ann, the mother of legendary Allen Iverson, appeared on the court at the Wells Fargo Center just to show her great appreciation and admiration for James, who when he saw her did not hesitate to embrace her warmly and at length while she confessed to him as the most ardent fan having seen him in one of his high school games with St. Vincent St Mary against Strawberry Mansion: “When you first came in, when everybody was playing and stuff, I didn’t care to see nobody but you. I would stand by the locker room and you would come out”.
