Secrets Unearthed: Exploring the Enigmatic Small Mexican Town with Alleged Underground ‘Joint Human-Alien Experimental Lab

Fewer than 3,000 people live in the tiny town of Dulce, New Mexico, but it has long been a source of huge alien conspiracy theories thanks to one businessman intent on exposing what lay beneath

Deep in the heart of Rio Arriba County, New Mexico lies a tiny town with a population of 2,788 people . . . above ground that is.

For the tiny town of Dulce is said to be hiding a secret alien base underneath is surface, where extraterrestrial beings and humans have teamed up to conduct experiments. As mad as that sounds, claims of the strange goings on first emerged in 1979 thanks to a businessman called Paul Bennewitz.

He was a member of the Aerial Phenomena Research Organisation, which was a civilian-led UFO investigation group. And as part of his work, he made some bold claims about Dulce stemming from what he claimed was “top secret communications”.

Although he never stated where it came from, he was adamant that there was a secret underground base in Dulce, and that it was being used by both aliens and the United States military to conduct “inhumane and cruel human experimentation”.

In 1981, he wrote a letter to a United States senator, explaining everything he knew.

He said: “I knew the location of the Alien bases in Northern New Mexico in the centre of the Jicarilla Apache Reservation 4.5 miles Northwest of Dulce, NM.

“I know that someone in the military made a deal with the Aliens several years ago, giving the Indian land, cattle, etc. and apparent assurance of safety to the Alien in trade for Technology in the form of an Atomic powered ship at the same time establishing an extensive US base alongside to test the ship.

“That sometime late 79 or first of 80 an argument insued [sic] over weapons and the military abandoned; the final circumstance of the men unknown. That I had very high resolution official NASA U2 CIR (color infrared)photos in addition to low level and ground photos showing the base in total detail, (photos obtained legitimately through UNM) [University of New Mexico]

“The ship design traded for is over thirty (30) years behind the alien technology. I advised Captain Harris I knew of the two women and child near Austin, TX who were severely exposed to radiation at close distance from the ship in trouble and that it was seen to come west with helicopters (unmarked) and that the government was quietly paying their hospital expenses.

“I am also very concerned that the President has not been totally advised of the situation and have forwarded a copy to him, cover letter enclosed for your record. It is hoped you will value this valuable input and in time get in touch with me.”

He was ignored, and in 1988, he published a paper called “Project Beta” where he detailed how to expose the base, as well as how to launch an attack on it. The paper is VERY difficult to get hold of, however.

Sadly, most people labelled him as delusional, and sadly he suffered a mental breakdown years later. He died on June 23, 2003, but the mystery of what really lies beneath Dulce remains unsolved.
