Scary moment: Komodo Dragon Wears A Turtle Shell Like A Helmet, Neck Deep In A Feast

These lizards are wild.

They are just massive killing machines

The Komodo dragon is the largest lizard on earth, with males growing up to 10 feet in length and weighing up to 200 pounds. They are carnivorous and feed on a variety of prey, including deer, wild boar, water buffalo, and other smaller reptiles. They will eat anything they can including dead animals.

They have amazing sense of smell that allows them to detect prey from up to five miles away. When hunting, Komodo dragons use their powerful jaws to latch onto their prey, and their sharp, serrated teeth and venomous saliva help them to kill their prey quickly.

These lizards are ambush predators and will often wait for their prey to approach before launching a surprise attack. Once they have bitten their prey, the venom in their saliva quickly slows their victim, allowing them to kill it more easily.

These three Komodo dragons are seen on a beach having their way with a sea turtle. Or, what’s left of a sea turtle…

One of them is really hungry and knows that he needs to get right in there. The giant lizard is seen sticking his full head right to his shoulders inside the shell of the turtle as it eats away.
