As I was passing by, a bird of prey suddenly came into view… I think it’s human nature that when an unexpectedly cute person like this suddenly appears in your casual everyday scene, you want to capture it on camera while getting excited.
The photographer spotted something on the asphalt ground, which looked like a school playground.
When I got closer, I realized that it was an owl!
A small owl calmly blowing in the wind without any fear.
Even when the photographer touches it, it doesn’t seem to be threatened or run away.
The owl that took off before long seemed to have been thought by the photographer to be a baby, but a friend in the comments section of the video pointed out that it was a small owl called a little owl.
It is widely distributed from Europe to China, and is apparently active during the day, which is unusual for an owl. That’s probably why I ended up in a place like this on such a bright day. Apparently it’s a popular pet species, so I’m sure you have friends who have seen it before.
