Antonio Rudiger is pushing to be named in the Real Madrid starting XI for the Champions League playoff game against Manchester City, reports Relevo.
Rudiger has only just recovered from a hamstring injury that’s kept him out of action for almost two weeks forcing him to miss the first leg at Man City.
Carlo Ancelotti is yet to determine if Rudiger will start the game as Raul Asecio and Aurelien Tchouameni played well in that first leg.

If Rudiger starts it will be alongside Tchouameni as the Frenchman is considered untouchable by Carlo Ancelotti. That means Asencio will drop to the bench.
