Ruben Dias spoke to the media ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Real Madrid. The defender made a remark about Kylian Mbappe, who will be a key player in the match.

“I played against Mbappe many times, even when he wasn’t the best player on his team, because Neymar and Messi were there,” Dias said about Mbappe’s time at PSG.

He was also asked about Real Madrid boycotting the Ballon d’Or ceremony last year. “I don’t think for a second that it was disrespectful. I was with Rodri and we celebrated it,” he said.

On facing Real Madrid again, Dias added: “We know how difficult it is to beat Real Madrid. Last year was frustrating because we dominated and lost on penalties. We have to fight harder than ever.”
