Spotted: Rodrygo leaves Man City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne bamboozled with cheeky nutmeg
Rodrygo didn’t have the most eventful outing for Real Madrid in their 3-2 win over Man City in the first leg of the Champions League playoffs.
The Brazilian winger couldn’t get among the goals and saw his replacement, Brahim Diaz, play a significant role in the late comeback.
However, Rodrygo had a few shining moments in the game and one of them came at the expense of midfielder Kevin de Bruyne.
At one point in the game, the Real Madrid winger decided to take a short corner routine and get past the experienced Belgian.
He managed to cheekily pull off a nutmeg on De Bruyne to move past him before hitting a shot that was ultimately blocked.
Rodrygo has enjoyed a pretty good 2024/25 season with Real Madrid so far, with 12 goals and eight assists in 32 appearances.
