VAR might’ve pressurized the referee..

Lucas Vazquez was infuriated with how referee Soto Grado gave Atletico Madrid a penalty during their 1-1 draw against Real Madrid.
At the end of the first half, the Spaniard decided to confront the referee to get the reason about exactly why it was given.

Vazquez could be seen clearly questioning Grado and wanting to know the details of why that challenge from Aurelien Tchouameni was defined as an intentional foul.
Grado went on the defensive when approached and told the Real Madrid skipper: “For me, live, I don’t see it… Everything looks like a penalty in slow motion.”

It appears that Grado is hinting here that the VAR team might’ve pressurized him to give the penalty after making him approach the monitor.
