The mistreatment Russ had received, as well as his skin problems, made it very difficult for anyone to notice him, so Kayla did not think twice and decided to take Russ home and save him from an uncertain fate.
The young woman offered this adorable dog all the love and care that an animal in his condition could need and even more. Kayla was willing to do whatever it took to make him feel loved and to make him forget everything he experienced on the streets.
Russ, noble and grateful like many other pets, has always shown such special affection for his new owner that photos of the two of them together have gone viral.
One image that has particularly moved hundreds is one in which Kayla is working on her computer from her sofa at home, and Russ, sitting very close to her on the sofa, is hugging her with his front paws, with indescribable affection.
Kayla has admitted on social media that there is no more loving dog than this one and that she doesn’t understand how his owners could have let him go.
Today this pitbull is in very good health and has achieved the dream of every abandoned pet in the world: to be able to have a home in which to live happily, full of love and attention.
