In the footage from Rajasthan, India, a tiger is seen attacking a wild boar near a body of water. The thick-skinned boar is tough to take down, but you can tell that the tiger has the upper hand in the battle.
As the tiger begins the final takedown of the boar, a crocodile comes barreling into the frame out of thin air (probably just the water though). I’m guessing that the game plan for the croc was to sneak attack the tiger while it was preoccupied, allowing for it to take home both animals for half the trouble.
“And here comes the crocodile out of nowhere!”
Getting back to the video, the crocodile chases down the fight and tries to take a chunk out of tiger’s back left leg. Somehow the tiger catches a glimpse of the incoming croc and impressively jumps out of the way of the bite, all while still holding onto the boar in its teeth.
After narrowly avoiding the attack from the crocodile, the tiger drags the boar back into the bushes and away from the reptilian-challenger so that it can begin to chow down.
The entire unbelievable encounter takes place in Ranthambore National Park, and if you happen to be visiting there anytime soon, I would make sure to keep an eye out.
It seems like there is a lot of dangerous wildlife in the area, as proven here in this incredible tiger-boar-crocodile fight video:
