Omar Marmoush has announced himself on the Premier League stage.
Man City’s January signing took 14 minutes to score three goals against Newcastle.
This was Marmoush’s third Premier League game for Man City since joining them from Eintracht Frankfurt last month.
In the first half of the season, the Egypt international scored 15 goals and provided nine assists in 17 Bundesliga games.
Ederson becomes Premier League’s leading goalkeeper for assists
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson helped his team open the scoring against Newcastle. In the 19th minute, he provided an assist to Omar Marmoush.
This is Ederson’s third assist of the Premier League season and his sixth in total during his time in the league.
The Citizens’ goalkeeper has now become the leading goalkeeper with the most assists in Premier League history, overtaking Paul Robinson, who had five.
