The story we are about to tell features a very sweet Pitbull. After waiting a long time, the puppy had finally managed to find a home. The time had finally come for him to receive as much love as he deserved.
As we know, many people are led to choose the dog to adopt based only on purely aesthetic judgments. Obviously, puppies, whether ugly or beautiful, all need the same love and the same care from their owners.
The dog we are going to talk about was called Wally, as we said, the puppy was a pitbull with a somewhat particular appearance. Wally had a really difficult past and what he wanted most was just a home and a loving family.
Little Wally found shelter in a shelter in Long Island, New York. When he arrived at the facility, he was in very poor health despite being very young. The shelter workers had been able to verify that the little one had been blinded due to an infection. For that reason they feared that no one would want to adopt him because of his problems.
After an initial veterinary visit his character profile showed the character of a docile and very cheerful dog. He loved being outdoors but at the same time he loved to relax and do nothing.
Unfortunately, as we said, those who adopt a dog focus a lot on the external appearance and very little on the feelings and character of an animal. For this reason poor Wally had to wait a long time before finding a home.
Eventually, however, the day came when a family decided to welcome him and he was finally adopted. A new chapter had begun for his life alongside sweet and kind people in a welcoming home.
