A baffled UFO fan spotted what he believes could be a ‘metal spaceship’ while watching a live NASA feed from the International Space Station .

Shocked Jadon Beeson, 20, was watching the live stream on his phone when he suddenly noticed he strange object hovering in the background of the footage.

He said the UFO was similar to the Millennium Falcon, a spaceship made popular in the Star Wars films.

Jadon grabbed a screen shot and has sent the image to NASA and is still awaiting a response and explanation.

Jadon said: I was watching the live stream on my iPhone on Tuesday night and I popped away to see my neighbours and came back an hour later – I had left the stream on on my phone.

“I looked and realised there was a metal object above the earth. It had a blue glow to it and it stayed there for about two minutes.

“It was a metallic object, it looks like a Millennium Falcon from Star Wars or something from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

“I thought it was all very strange.”

A live feed taken from the International Space Station last month appeared to show a strange cylindrical UFO approaching the station, before fading away. The UFO spotter who shared the footage believed it was evidence of cloaking technology

Jadon, of Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, works in retail and says he has no idea what it really was and hopes experts can shed some light on it.

He said: “I took a picture of it and have contacted NASA, but I’ve heard nothing back yet.”

The NASA app allows people to watch live video from the International Space Station and includes internal views when the crew is on-duty and Earth views at other times.
