Luka Modric is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer after the FIFA Club World Cup. The 39-year-old midfielder has reportedly accepted a move to AC Milan.

According to Daniele Longo, Modric has agreed a one-year contract with Milan, with the option for a second year. The deal is worth 4 million euros including bonuses.
AC Milan’s sporting director Igli Tare travelled to Croatia to finalise the agreement. The visit was described as decisive in completing the transfer.
Modric is expected to arrive in Milan between Monday and Tuesday for medical tests before signing the contract.
