Real Madrid’s defeat to Arsenal at the Santiago Bernabeu was a massive kick in the teeth. Madrid were bulldozed 5-1 on aggregate by England’s second-best team.
It’s the first time that Los Blancos have been pushed out of the Champions League quarter-final in six years.
However, Real Madrid remain the record winners of the Champions League with 15 successes, and club legend Marcelo believes the club will bounce back to reclaim their throne as kings of Europe.
