Man City send not-so-subtle message after Liverpool defeat
Manchester City were comprehensively outplayed by Liverpool in a 2-0 defeat at the Etihad.
However, after the final whistle, with most fans left, a message appeared on the stadium’s electronic screen.
It looked like City tried to have the last word to state their superiority over Liverpool, as the message read ‘Champions 4-in-a-row’.
We are yet to learn the verdict concerning the 115 charges made about Man City’s alleged violations of Premier League’s financial rules. Some of the charges concern the period in which City won the four consecutive titles.
