Man City Strikes Again: A Game-Changing Deal Sealed With Yet Another Top Defender to Fortify Their Dominance

Real Valladolid midfielder Juma Bah looks set to leave in the January transfer window, after it was reported that Man City had reached a verbal agreement to sign the defender.

According to Romano, Man City has reached a verbal agreement to recruit Bah

Although a deal with the 18-year-old is yet to be finalised, Fabrizio Romano reports that the deal will be formalized in the coming hours. The Sierra Leonean talent joined La Pucela on loan from AIK Freetong in the summer and gradually worked his way into the starting lineup at home team Nuevo Jose Zorrilla.

Romano went on to say that Bah could be loaned out immediately, with RC Lens as his potential destination. The two clubs recently reached an agreement with Real Madrid target Abdukodir Khusanov for around 50 million euros . The Ligue 1 side probably believe that Bah can be Khusanov’s replacement until at least the end of the season.

Bah is highly appreciated for both his speed and strength

Bah just passed the 1,000-minute mark with Valladolid, making 14 appearances and receiving two yellow cards this season. Of those 14 appearances, 11 were starts and 13 of them were in the King’s Cup.

Newcastle have been linked with Bah in recent weeks and although transfer expert Romano did not specify a potential fee, the figures previously mentioned were around €10-15 million. This right-footed midfielder is highly appreciated for his speed and strength.

Valladolid coach Diego Cocca hopes that there will be reinforcements in the remainder of the transfer window to replace Bah. Ajax have been in talks to sign their star striker Raul Moro for a fee of around €10m – losing both would be a blow to Valladolid’s hopes of staying in La Liga.
