This story shows us the wonderful bond that exists between a child and his beloved pet, a furry friend who always accompanies him, especially when he is scolded by his parents for inappropriate behavior.
Jillian Marie Smith, Peyton’s mother, always knew that Dash’s arrival would bring joy and fun to the home.
“Dash has made life happier for the whole family, especially for Peyton,” said Jillian.
After fighting with his sister, his parents agreed that for his slightly unruly behavior, Peyton should spend a few minutes in time-out to think about why that wasn’t okay.
And although his parents only gave him a mild scolding, it was evident that Dash couldn’t bear to see his faithful friend going to face the time-out corner alone.
“I couldn’t stay mad for long because it was so cute how Peyton was hugging Dash,” Jillian said.
This probably won’t be the last time Peyton finds himself in a situation like this, but he’ll always have a loyal companion. When Peyton had to go to timeout, Dash knew his friend needed him.
Undoubtedly, as Peyton grows and learns, he will always have that friend with whom he can experience all those learning lessons from his childhood.
