Having a lost pet is a truly difficult experience. Owners spend all day wondering what will become of their little dog and can’t help but hope no one hurts them.

Fortunately, there are times when our furry friends meet loving people who give them all the love in the world and even help them find their way back home. Naoise is a sweet Golden Retriever who got lost in a very dangerous area where the chances of her being rescued were incredibly low .

Fortunately, she ran into Jean Francois and Ciara , a couple of doctors who have spent the last year battling the coronavirus. Recently, they decided to take a couple of days off and headed to the Lugnaquilla Mountains in Ireland for a well-deserved hike.

This area is over 900 meters high , and the temperatures are so low that no one expects to find a dog there. However, shortly before reaching the summit, doctors found a Golden Retriever who appeared very disoriented and distressed.

The little dog was shivering from the cold and was so weak she couldn’t take another step . Her huge eyes seemed to be pleading with them for help, so they stopped walking before reaching the top.

Using a spare coat they had, they covered her to protect her from the cold . They began to carry her down the mountain, but this was so difficult for Jean that they decided to improvise with a scarf and devised a way to carry her more easily.

As soon as they arrived home, Jean and Ciara placed her in a warm blanket and gave her some food. The sweet little thing seemed very relieved and grateful.

The next day they took her to the vet and contacted several foundations to find out if she was a stray.

In fact, her family had been searching for her since mid-January when they lost sight of her during a family outing. The poor girl had been wandering in the mountains for a couple of weeks.
