Liberated: Bear Rescued After Two Decades of Circus Captivity, Finding Fortune in Freedom and Care

A poor bear, who has been required to endure the most difficult existence a wild animal possibly live, unexpectedly celebrates her moments of liberation.

After spending over twenty years in a cage, and that she had the darkest existence, the bear nicknamed Cholita comes to her natural habitat, the outdoors, as well as her astonishment is breathtaking!

The ordeal began when the now 25-year-old type of bear (an endangered animal) was a youngster.

Cholita was stripped away from her mother and did end up in a Peruvian carnival.

Ever since, she has been compelled to remain in small cages, from which she is only allowed to escape whenever she performs for people.

Worse, the abuse she received throughout her stay there really was indescribable. Generations later, she still shows the scars of her hard upbringing

Even before authorities discovered that the circus was operating within the law, they removed all the animals, giving the unhappy bear a sliver of hope.

Cholita, on the other hand, did not receive her time to experience freedom since she was transported from the circus to a park, and all hope does seem to be gone for the mistreated animal.

And yet all changed ten years later, as Jan Creamer, director of Animal Defender’s Worldwide (ADI), unintentionally discovered Cholita’s tale.

Creamer was obsessed with finding her a nicer environment and only halted when the bears were free.

Cholita was initially relocated at an ADI rescue facility before being brought to her ultimate home.

The Taricaya Environmental Conservancy, a location she could call home because the region is renowned as a natural environment for spectacled animals.
