LeBron James Makes History: Reaches 50,000 Points in Stunning Sneakers Inspired by His Son

LeBron James reached his unprecedented 50,000 NBA points mark earlier this week while rocking some flashy blue and green kicks.

Turns out, the shoes were inspired by James’ youngest son, Bryce.

They’re the Nike LeBron 22 “Bryce’s World” sneakers, and they’re set to be released on April 1.

The shoes feature a blue gradient shifting into green on the upper half to go with green laces. There’s also a small red swoosh along the outside of each foot.

On the inward-facing portion of the shoe, there’s a small photo of Bryce in a graduation cap. James’ youngest son is slated to graduate from Sierra Canyon High School in California this spring.

Bryce, like his father and his older brother Bronny, is a basketball player. He’s a three-star recruit and will head to the University of Arizona to play college basketball.

Sierra Canyon and Bryce James won in Round 2 of the CIF Division 1 state playoffs on Thursday night, avenging an earlier loss to Santa Barbara High School by knocking SBHS out of the postseason. In the first round of the postseason, Bryce James nailed five 3-pointers to help Sierra Canyon advance.

The elder James rocked Bryce’s face on his shoes on Wednesday night, when he surpassed the 50,000 combined regular season and playoff points mark in his NBA career, the only player to ever do so. The Lakers were right back on the court Thursday against the Knicks.
