His wife has maintained a dignified silence.
Kyle Walker is facing an awkward return to England after his short-lived loan spell at AC Milan, following the fallout from his affair with influencer Lauryn Goodman.
The Manchester City defender joined AC Milan in January 2025 in what many saw as a personal escape as much as a footballing move.
At the time, he was battling to save his marriage to Annie Kilner, the mother of four of his children. But the shadow of his affair with Goodman – who has two children with Walker – continued to follow him, on and off the pitch.
Despite having an option to sign him permanently for just £4.2 million, AC Milan have reportedly decided not to take it up, leaving Walker set for a potentially uncomfortable return to England.
The affair with Goodman caused major upheaval in Walker’s personal life. After he left for Italy, Goodman remained vocal in the media, breaking her silence in emotional interviews and openly discussing the challenges she faced raising their two children amid the media storm.
She also pursued Walker over child maintenance, demanding substantial financial support, while expressing frustration over being portrayed as the villain in the affair.
Walker, speaking recently on his own podcast, reflected on his farewell to Manchester City but noted, “It’s not over. I’m just on loan here. I’ve got to take that into consideration that I can go back.”
