Kevin Gates is catching serious heat after sharing some unsolicited opinions about the marriage between NBA superstar LeBron James and his wife Savannah James.
What started as a casual Instagram video quickly turned into a viral storm after Gates questioned the way Savannah looks at her husband.
In the video, Gates is on the phone with a friend and says he’s been paying attention to couples, particularly in the sports world.
“I like the way white women look at LeBron James.”

That’s when he dropped the head-turning take: he wouldn’t want to trade places with LeBron James-not because of fame, pressure, or basketball-but because of how Savannah looks at him.
“You act like the warden of the jail, like you came here to police me. You not d**d out like these white women,” Gates said, referring to Savannah. “I just couldn’t do it. It hurt me to see that. Man, you dive on the floor behind that n*a man.”
He continued to speculate that Savannah James always seems to have a disapproving or demanding expression on her face, claiming she looks at LeBron like, “he could be doing more,” which Gates found baffling.
“What more could LeBron do?” he asked, seemingly annoyed on the NBA star’s behalf.
