A deer is flipped into the air by a brawling buck after muscling in on his scrap.
Two had been clashing antlers during the rutting season when a third entered the fight.

The flipped deer kept on fighting according to photographer Steve Ball, who watched the encounter
After sizing them up for a few moments the newcomer decided to charge one, causing him to somersault
He said: ‘I went to the park hoping to take some pictures of Western Osprey, but they failed to make an appearance, so I decided to have a walk around the park taking various pictures of the deer.
The deer bucks were seen butting heads with one another, until one was flipped into the air after losing the brawl
