It is in our hands to make a difference. It is not enough to just raise our voices and demand justice for abandoned and abused animals that spend their days suffering before the eyes of insensitive beings incapable of acting.
Fortunately, there are many people who dedicate themselves body and soul to carrying out this type of action. Thanks to organizations and rescue groups that look after animal welfare, the lives of many abandoned furry friends have managed to transform for the better.
Recently, a tiny puppy was rescued from hiding under a bank full of rubbish, covered in mud and very scared. She needed help, otherwise she wouldn’t be able to survive on her own.
It wasn’t until a volunteer from the shelter came to help the puppy that her heartbreaking fate began to change.
The woman wrapped her in a blanket, took her in her hands, put her in the car and took her to the vet.
The veterinarian indicated that the puppy was in critical condition; she was infested with ticks that had caused a blood infection, she also had an eye infection and was very underweight.
At the end of the check-up, he was finally able to eat, it may have been his first meal of the day, at least he could digest and process food.
