Henry Cavill, the famous British actor who has played Superman more than once, publicly admitted that his heroism is limited to the big screen, since in real life it is his pet who has saved his life on more than one occasion.
The bond between the actor and his furry friend began when the latter was a puppy. The American Akita came into “Superman’s” life when he was just 10 weeks old, and that’s been nine years since then.

From photo shoots, interviews, tours, and even international trips, the dog has been with his owner. For Henry, there’s no way Kal isn’t there for him, because when what he calls “emotional lows” hit, it’s his pet who cheers him up.

Henry first played Superman in the 2013 film “Man of Steel,” then reprised the role in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” but it’s his little dog who saves him in every one of his battles.

“In those moments when I need someone close but struggle to connect with another person, he’s there. When he senses something’s happening to me, he stays close; he’s almost always close, but he stays even closer and attentive,” she added.

In keeping with his love for his pet, the actor attended an interview with Kal, and although the invitation was to promote the second season of his Netflix series The Witcher, the furry friend ended up stealing the show.

The 39-year-old actor also confessed to having his Superman suit in his wardrobe for when they decide to call him back. In the meantime, he’s taking his time with his successful career and enjoying his good friend Kal.

The bond between the British man and his pet should be no secret to his fans, as Henry often posts every moment he enjoys with Kal on his social media.

Amid all the trappings of being a famous artist, Henry, like his castmates, often ends up feeling very lonely at times. But for this actor, loneliness and discouragement are no longer a problem; he has found his best remedy and refuge in his beloved pet.
