On a cold November morning in Stillwater, Oklahoma , the Stillwater Animal Welfare (Saw) welcomed two new special arrivals, two dogs that immediately demonstrated an indissoluble bond. These dogs, affectionately appointed Bonnie and Clyde by the refuge staff, were inseparable, a real example of loyalty and fraternal love.

After being subjected to routine medical care, Saw staff started looking for a family that could welcome the two dogs. The hope was to find someone willing to adopt them together, so as not to have to separate them. However, fate had other plans in store. A family fell in love with Clyde, deciding to take him to their home and heart, but, unfortunately, they did not have the opportunity to welcome Bonnie too.

The same evening of the separation, Bonnie cried, spending the night curled up in a corner of her bed, the head sunk between her legs as a sign of deep sadness.

Now, Bonnie has found refuge in a warm and welcoming house, where she is loved and pampered. He has two new companions, Braden and Tully, the latter with an aspect surprisingly similar to her. This new family brought the smile back to Bonnie’s face, allowing her to find the happiness of having brothers.
