Anderson Fechner Bahi had always heard about the unconditional loyalty that some pets felt for their owners, but at the end of August he witnessed an emotional and surprising scene that seemed straight out of the famous Disney Pixar film, Toy Story.
The incident occurred in Uruguaiana, Brazil, when a man was walking with his pet and suddenly fainted. Apparently, the neighbors called the paramedics and they arrived immediately to help the man.
The dog, who would not leave her owner, decided to climb onto the bumper of the ambulance when she saw that those men were going to take her father away. That was the scene that Anderson captured in images and that she later decided to upload on her social networks.
The creature’s loyalty was so great that she was not afraid of the danger she was in; the ambulance was moving while she held on to the bumper as best she could.
These generous men were moved by the animal’s loyalty and persistence, so they stopped and opened the doors to let the dog into the ambulance and accompany her father, but this gesture of love did not end there.
Once at the hospital, the little girl decided to wait for her loyal friend outside the health center. Animals are not allowed there, but she didn’t mind spending the night there, as long as she knew that her dad was okay.
