The dog didn’t have a microchip, and everything indicated she had been living on the streets . They decided to name her Suzy and were concerned about how thin she was. All her ribs were horribly visible, and she looked somewhat weak.
Plus, she had a lot of ticks and some minor injuries on her paws. The poor thing hadn’t had an easy life, but she’d chosen the perfect humans for her.
Jack and Emily realized they couldn’t let her go. They set out to give her all the help she needed and gave her one of their dog George’s beds .
A few days later, the little furry friend proved she was adapting wonderfully to her new family. Not only did she get along well with the other dog, but she also proved to be very affectionate with the baby. She seemed truly destined to live there.
