The drama of stray dogs causes great sadness to animal lovers. They are forced to fight to survive in the most unhealthy and inhospitable conditions, coupled with the indifference of humans, who reject them and feel no compassion, much less offer them a helping hand.
The effort and dedication that certain cases require reaches unsuspected levels. But despite this, they never give up and do everything until they see authentic beings of light emerge, while others only felt disgust.
This is what happened to a dog found in truly shocking conditions on the streets of Pisco, Peru, by volunteers from Salvando Huellitas Pisco.
He was in an obvious state of abuse, abandonment and with a series of wounds and illnesses.
The little dog, affectionately called “Peludito,” broke everyone’s heart. He was skinless, furless and seriously ill, but that wasn’t the worst part…
How sad that there are people with hearts as hard as stone! The world should be disgusted by their rotten souls.
But then these heroes took on the challenge of betting everything on Peludito, they shared the images that move so many, but also all his progress based on the selfless care of the veterinarians and all the love he always deserved.
It seems incredible that this dog rejected by so many has recovered his golden fur, which makes him look so adorable.
“He now has a roof over his head, a comfortable bed and food every day, which has made Peludito feel totally loved. He made friends with all the dogs rescued from the shelter and together they moved forward with love. Today he is happy and we are sure that we have erased his wounds little by little,” added Salvando Huellitas Pisco.
Peludito is already vaccinated, dewormed and neutered, and only has a small wound on his ear to heal.
