Despite the score, the match turned out to be emotional, as the referee sent off two players at once: Mateo Kovacic and Lewis Cook.
But after the final whistle, the focus was not so much on the result as on Bernardo Silva.
You see, before the game started, Silva was spotted scrambling on the streets after missing travel with the squad to the Etihad.
It turned out that the Portuguese midfielder arrived at the Etihad not with the team, but separately.

Footage emerged on social media showing Silva running around in panic, trying to get a cab ride to the Etihad.
Although we do not know what caused the confusion, Silva still made up for it with a well-taken goal.
