Even Giants Start Small: A Baby Elephant’s Wobbly First Steps Inspire Hope and Awe with Its Courage to Rise

Wild animals must acquire the strength to survive on their own from the time they are born. So most animals learn to stand up soon after birth.

A video of a newborn baby African elephant taken on a safari in Zimbabwe has become a hot topic on social media.

The baby elephant stands up on its own, even though it is unsteady, and tries desperately to take its first steps over and over again, even when it falls forward.

However, he struggled to find a balance. In the video shot by Carol, the baby elephant can be seen stumbling forward, almost falling over and over again.

Carol was nervous as she watched, but couldn’t help but burst into laughter at how cute it was.

Eventually, the baby elephant finally succeeded in taking a step forward. The touching video went viral and was shared on Twitter by Parveen Kaswan, an Indian forest department official, on March 5.
