Dramatic Encounter: Dominant Elephant Forces Impalas Aside to Claim Exclusive Access to Watering Hole in Botswana

This elephant had absolutely zero interest in waiting his turn at a watering hole in a Botswana national park, and pushed his way to the front of the line, sending terrified impalas flying left, right and centre.

What a bully: The bull elephant was less than pleased when he arrived at a watering hole where a herd of impalas were enjoying a drink

No patience: Refusing to wait his turn, the elephant began kicking and swinging his trunk to get the impala to move out of the way

The incident was captured by Johan Barnard, 50, from Cape Town, South Africa.

‘He didn’t cause any injuries, but he certainly had the watering hole to himself after that. If it had been a human, it would have been quite rude.’

Aint nobody got time for that: The elephant is pictured as he arrives at the watering hole, clearly unhappy about waiting his turn

Get outta my way: The elephant is seen swinging his trunk at the impalas, who run for their lives
